The performance coaching studio
Meromind is a performance coaching studio for goal-oriented individuals, teams, and businesses looking to redefine their path to success. Founded by Swiss Olympic rowing duo Frédérique Rol and Patricia Merz, our methodology equips clients with the mindset and strategies to break limitations, find joy in performance, and sustain long-term success.
We offer personalised coaching sessions, delivered in person or online, and tailored specifically to your individual needs. Sessions can be held indoors, outdoors, or conveniently at your own training facility throughout the Lausanne and Zug area.
Through competing at the highest level for a decade, including the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, we experienced firsthand how mindset shapes success. But more than that, we learned that growth flourishes in an environment of trust, care, and self-discovery. This understanding led us to create meromind, where we guide others to unlock their potential through joy, mouvement, and deeper self-awareness.

I help athletes and performers dream big, define their goals, and embrace their journey with confidence. My expertise lies in efficiency strategy, continuous improvement, and attentive leadership.

Growing up by Lake Geneva, movement was second nature. From diving to rowing, I thrived on challenge, competition and growth. Over time my motivation evolved from chasing podiums to mastering the mental game. A turning point came after a World Championship setback when my team integrated mental coaching into our training. The results were transformational: improved performance, renewed joy, and a deeper understanding of success.
This shift led Patricia and I to Tokyo 2021, where we delivered our best performance yet, finishing 7th at the Olympics. Beyond competing, I took on project management—leading an independent team, securing funding, and structuring training plans to qualify for Paris 2024.
Now, through Meromind, I share this experience with others. With a CAS in Mental Coaching, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s in Social Science, I help athletes and leaders unlock their full potential, bridging elite performance with strategic execution.
Patricia Merz

I believe in the balance between effort and harmony, strength and lightness, values that shaped both my rowing journey and my approach to life. Now, I help others find their own vision and path forward.

I discovered rowing at See-Club Zug at 15, drawn not just to the sport but to the team, the environment, and the feeling of gliding across the water. Over time competition became more than just winning, it was about movement, flow, and personal growth. This mindset led me to the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, with Frédérique.
Rowing has been one of my greatest teachers, helping me take responsibility, challenge myself, and carve my own path. Today, I bring this experience to coaching, guiding athletes and high performers to push their limits and embrace new possibilities.
Currently completing a Master’s in Sport Science (2025) with a Bachelor’s in Sport & Economy, I combine endless creativity, a passion for sport, and big-picture thinking to inspire and support others in their journey—both in competition and in life.
